When ever discharged battery is connected to charger the output Voltage goes to boost charging mode and will start charging the Battery. Once Battery is fully Charged the output voltage will change from boost to float mode and maintains the battery in fully charged Condition.
The Power Supply is fully protected against over load & short circuit. During over load output will fold back and resumes to normal operation on removal of over loads. During short circuit at output the Power Supply will go in to hick up mode and resumes normal operation on Removal of the short circuit.
Once Battery is fully Charged the protection circuit changes from Boost mode to Float mode and it does not allow further charging. During charging time when ever the battery charging current reduces to 4.0A ± 1.0A the output will change from boost to float mode.
On reverse polarity Red LED indication is provided near the Rear panel terminal side. Charger is protected against the reverse connection.

GREEN LED is provided to indicates mains ON & Battery is fully Charged.
RED LED is provided to indicate battery charging.
RED LED is provided to indicate battery reverse connection.
The Power Supply is protected against over temperature. In case of over temperature the Power Supply output gradually reduced, O/P Power limits & recovers normal operation automatically when the temperature reduces.
0 to 20V analog voltmeter provided on the front panel to read the Load and battery voltage.
0 to 25A analog ammeter provided on the front panel to read the Load and battery currents.
Forced air cooling.
